74. Brian Lewis, EXP - Focus on the Family

Brian Lewis

In every man who starts a family, and has children, there is a wake up call they choose to answer or not. In this episode, our guest gets raw and real with what he’s learned since he started working in elementary school.

Brian Lewis Jr. is a native New Yorker who was raised in a family HVAC business he still works in today, and is a successful Real Estate Agent with EXP and Real Estate Investor.  He shares some of the journeys he’s taken in his personal and professional life as he continues through life.

In this episode, Pedro and Brian take a deep dive into what happens to every man who grows tired of the chase and starts to realize the significance of their purpose here on this planet. Brian shares his journey as a father and the one revelation that outlines his true purpose for why he does what he does.  They discuss the unhealthy habits many men accept as “the norm,” and share insights on the 75 Hard program that led them both out of the darkness found at the bottom of most bottles of beer. If you’re a struggling family man, raising yourself while raising your children, maintaining a household, dealing with the pressures of the commitments you’ve made, this episode will share some perspectives that will help you.

What You'll Learn:

  • The one realization Brian made as a father of 6

  • Why many men miss the mark of what’s important

  • What being, fat, drunk, and 300 pounds feels like

  • How to navigate tremendous loss and debt, and the journey to rebuilding yourself and your net worth

  • Power moves you can make today that will hold you accountable and productive

  • One secret to getting business without asking

  • Freedom associated with Real Estate most people won’t tell you

  • The one thing Brian would trade his Escalade and all his earthly possessions for in the blink of an eye

  • Creating a movement of your own will change lives beyond your imagination

  • One thing Brian does every single day before he gets his day started that has impacted his life and many others (and it only requires time and effort)

  • And much more!

“ We want to beat our chest and say we sold this and we did that and have the nice cars, new house, new Escalade in the driveway, and the stuff we think is important that is really not important.  I’d rather have time with my kids than a new Escalade in the driveway, but we work hard to buy the Escalade for the kids and forget we don’t get to see the kids, but the process is really screwed up and a lot of us get stuck in it.  You neglect the people in your life because you’re so hard on the struggle. It’s something I try to bring to the table with everybody to stop and realize where you are in life  and realize why you’re doing it before it’s too late.

For me, it’s probably too late for the family stuff and kids, and a lot of damage has been done because I’ve missed a lot of their lives because I’ve been working.”
